Big Sausage Breakfast

Breakfast is considered the most important meal of the day, and on the weekends it is often the only meal for Tea Addict. Nothing like stuff your face first thing and therefore remaining unable to consume anything for the rest of the day, well until at least late evening when you are guzzling the 7th mug of tea and scoffing a handful of digestive biscuits or if I was fortunate in the bakery a tasty apple pastry.

To blame for the ever expanding Tea Addict stomach line is my obssessive craving for bratwurst and red cabbage with pre-packed fried tattie and onion weekend greed.
The small nuremberg bratwurst two-pack lasts just as it says on the pack - two times. I wash the gut filling treat down with some coffee and it lasts all day until dinner time. It is quite delicious and provides a home-based alternative to Saturday Scottish breakfast at Wetherspoons which I can recommend as a tasty fill-up (see reviews below):

Wetherspoon Wick - 5/5 fine cooking, bacon grilled to perfection

Wetherspoon Inverness - 5/5 tried once earlier this year and was served up hot and tasty complete with super mug of Tetley

Wetherspoon Edinburgh Airport - 4/5 more pricey than the above pubs but equally as tasty

Wetherspoon (The Crystal Palace) Glasgow- 3/5 good put not always available and the furnishings was a bit fusome last time I was there

Wetherspoon (Sir John Moore) Glasgow - 4/5 good but pub area not well laid out

Wetherspoon (Red Lion) London Gatwick - 4/5 good but sassenach prices and rebranded as an English breakfast i.e. without the Jock lorne sausage.

Dear Mr Silver Fox
I note your outstanding business leads, I take it your name is a lead on your elderly status as grey haired lothario with an eye for the ladies?
Or are you a closet breakfast fetishist like my goodself?

Mr. Silverfish, with these great freebies you are really spoiling us. The next time you come to Scotland Tea-Addict and I will treat you to a slap up feed at Mrs. Maggots Tripe Emporium. Then we will whisk you off to a whippet meet and get you some Maxi-Rabbit ear muffs. PS. I like to dress up as a badger on Tuesday afternoons and have Tea with the Pearly Kings and Queens.
