"Bring them over"
Todays breakfast was a delight. Tomato and Toast were hanging back hoping that I would go first. I scared them a bit by faffing about with the trays, that'll learn them to laugh at me and my sausage bap last week. I went first and got served by a delightful Danish/Dutch type lady whose name is Ingrid, apparantly. She filled me with confidence due to her foreigness and seemed to know what she was doing. This week my stomach was settled and the memory of the watery egg almost forgotten so I opted for the traditional breakfast. I received a black pudding with my sausage and bacon. I was slightly worried that the woman at the till would count this as a meat product and my breakfast would lose it's "traditional" status. If so I would be charged 40p per item! Not to worry, I sailed through the checkout without incident. There was a previous worry a few minutes earlier as there were no small jugs of milk, however Toast saved the day by grabbing a large jug (of milk). Then the best part of the day happened. Toast and Tomato appeared with empty trays!!!!, Ingrid was going to "bring them over". Excellent. I couldn't have been more delighted tucking into by breakfast as the two poor saps worried themselves sick about the arrival of their breakfasts, Ingrid "didn't even check to see what I looked like" fretted Toast. Toast and Tomato positioned themselves so they would be facing Ingrid. All too soon she appeared with the grub, a quick count of items revealed all to be in order. After the breakfastTomato and Toast became "spindlers". I will have to go one bettter and become a "printable spindler".
