Pheasant Pluckers

Bonjour indeed,
My early pheasant alarm friend has now found himself a young lady and is serenading her between the hours of 4.30am and midnight, he struts around her doing a strange dance and squaking intermittently.
All hell broke loose on Wednesday morning around 5am when another cock pheasant entered his patch, picture the scene of me peering out of the window bleary eyed at this spectacle, ah how wonderful nature is.
