Hunger Breaks - All Day Breakfast

I showed him the tin and explained that sometimes, on a Saturday, I liked to scoff the ADB whilst watching Football Focus. Toastboy insisted that I have it this very Saturday and make a blog post about it. So here I am.
The ADB consists of "baked beans in a tomato sauce with sausages, button mushrooms, chopped pork and egg nuggets with cereal and bacon"
Football Focus starts at 12:10pm on BBC1. I start my preparations at 11:50am. I'm about to open the tin when I decide to take photo's of the event. I spend a long time photographing the tin. Realising I am wasting time the tin is opened, upturned and the rather unappetising contents "glooonk" into the pan. I ponce about for another few minutes until I realise the cooker isn't "on at the wall" RRRRRRR. Switching on, I turn the knob (on the cooker) up to 4, dangerous I know but I'm losing time. The camera reappears and the bubbling concoction is photographed, slow synchro flash activated for a more fancy schmancy shot.... the pics of the gloop alone are rather disgusting.
The ADB is ready but I've forgot to put on the toast! RRRRR I crank the toaster up to 4, dangerous I know but a wary eye is kept on it. Toast ready, it's "wheeeeched" onto the plate, the lump of all day breakfast poured over the top and off I trot to the TV. About to tuck in I realise I haven't taken photo's of the finished product. Of course I spend too long poncing about yet again with the camera. When I finally tuck in the breakfast is lukewarm. A few hours later it still sits heavy in my stomach.
I should've had a banana.

Well Milk, alarm bells should have rung,
"A Breakfast in a tin" that is just asking for problems.
Once it weeeeeched onto your plate you failed to describe the eating experience, textures and tastes on your palate etc.
although I have a fair idea by your preparation description.
This sounds like an eating experience that you have put up with to the end, trying to convince yourself it is tasting better as you tuck in.
I can just imagine the photo faffage going on,and the tinned breakfast rapidly cooling.
Would you recommend it or buy it again?
I would try it myself if only to experience the, sitting heavy in the stomach effect.
One look at the tin made up my mind in a jiffy. I didn't fancy the mushrooms really.
This all in tin effort reminds me of the London Breakfast which basically was baked beans and an assortment of other cooked breakfast stablemates such as egg! and sausage but without the pickled winkles and jellied eels
Brilliant! What a great blog, Esp as im sitting at my desk at work with a Can of all day breakfast by my side.
I actually had one the other week but went really dirty and added more bacon and a poached egg - it was only after I thought "why didnt I just have an Egg and Bacon sandwich and forget the can-o-dirt"
Needless to say I couldnt eat it all
