Hunger Breaks - All Day Breakfast

Whilst doing my Thursday Night Big Shop at Morrisons I picked up a tin of Hunger Breaks "All Day Breakfast". This must have triggered an alarm, as who should round the corner but Toastboy!
I showed him the tin and explained that sometimes, on a Saturday, I liked to scoff the ADB whilst watching Football Focus. Toastboy insisted that I have it this very Saturday and make a blog post about it. So here I am.

The ADB consists of "baked beans in a tomato sauce with sausages, button mushrooms, chopped pork and egg nuggets with cereal and bacon"

Football Focus starts at 12:10pm on BBC1. I start my preparations at 11:50am. I'm about to open the tin when I decide to take photo's of the event. I spend a long time photographing the tin. Realising I am wasting time the tin is opened, upturned and the rather unappetising contents "glooonk" into the pan. I ponce about for another few minutes until I realise the cooker isn't "on at the wall" RRRRRRR. Switching on, I turn the knob (on the cooker) up to 4, dangerous I know but I'm losing time. The camera reappears and the bubbling concoction is photographed, slow synchro flash activated for a more fancy schmancy shot.... the pics of the gloop alone are rather disgusting.
The ADB is ready but I've forgot to put on the toast! RRRRR I crank the toaster up to 4, dangerous I know but a wary eye is kept on it. Toast ready, it's "wheeeeched" onto the plate, the lump of all day breakfast poured over the top and off I trot to the TV. About to tuck in I realise I haven't taken photo's of the finished product. Of course I spend too long poncing about yet again with the camera. When I finally tuck in the breakfast is lukewarm. A few hours later it still sits heavy in my stomach.
I should've had a banana.

The Cosy Corner 3rd Nov 2007

Four crisp pound coins purchased a tasty wee breakfast at Alness's Cosy Corner last Saturday. Served up by a wholesome looking young woman. Bacon, lorne sausage, egg, beans, toast and tea. Although the portion was quite small it was freshly cooked and apart from a rather sad looking dryish lorne sausage it was quite delicious. The atmos was very relaxed and I felt no need to rush my tea and enjoyed sipping it as I read a few chapters of The Ipcress File that I had recently purchased from a local charity shop.

But the question is... Can I recommend the Cosy Corner to my fellow breakfasteers!?!
I fear all would be slightly dismayed at the size of the portion, Ayatollah would be looking for seconds. Milk and Plum Tomato would faint at the £4 price tag. Although the pleasant looking serving wench would offer some comfort to the still hungry horde.
